Vizsla Copper Corp., we don’t support the Palmer Project. Chilkat Indian Village says no. Leave our Valley.
Cutting into our land.
Polluting our water.
Paving the Chilkat Valley Watershed.
Threatening our wild salmon, wildlife,
and way of life.
We say no.
The people of Klukwan, Haines, and the Chilkat Valley stand united against the Palmer Project.
This project risks toxic contamination of the Chilkat Valley Watershed, threatening the salmon runs, wildlife, and pristine water that are the foundation of life here. Our communities have relied on this abundance for generations. We will not allow mining companies to jeopardize it now.
Local opposition is unequivocal. The message to Vizsla Copper Corporation and investors of the Palmer Project is clear: you are not welcome here.
This is about preserving what sustains us — our culture, our livelihoods, our sacred responsibility to future generations. Chilkat Indian Village (Klukwan), Tlákw Aan, are the stewards of Jilkáat Aani Ka Héeni (Chilkat River Watershed) since time immemorial.
Respect our home, our voice, and our decision.
No Means Go
Leave our valley and don’t come back.
